A POSSIBLE TOUR COULD BE IN THE WORKS
Childish Gambino has taken his talents to many different avenues of the entertainment industry as of late, and he’s making sure that his multiple fan bases are well-catered to. The Awaken, My Love! rapper announced today (March 5) that he is hitting the road with fellow Atlanta artists Rae Sremmurd for an upcoming tour this fall.
Gambino announced the 2018 tour on Twitter, revealing that tickets will be going on sale this Friday (March 9). Dates for the shows begin on Sept. 6 in Atlanta, Ga., and run until Sept. 30 in Vancouver, B.C.
The “Black Beatles” rap duo will be joining Gambino on the road, where they will perform a slew of their hit songs off of their two SremmLife albums. As of right now, SremmLife 3 is slated to release in the near future as well, but there is no set date for the project yet.
The tour comes after a busy start of 2018 for Gambino, who is currently starring in season two of his FX television series, Atlanta, that premiered last week (March 2). He will also be the voice of Simba in the live-action remake of The Lion King and has a prominent role in the upcoming Star Wars film.
