Lil Bankhead is one of the youngest in the industry, but Is well on his way to becoming a mover and shaker. He proudly represents the Westside of Atlanta’s Zone 1 and is a graduate of Frederick Douglas High School. Much like his mentors T.I and Greg Street, Lil Bankhead stays on the grind and is always connected to the streets. It’s his Street credibility that has brought him this far and will take him even further. At the early age of 18, Lil Bankhead experienced first hand what it felt like to be a taker in pursuit of your dreams; He was offered a full scholarship to attend New York university, but passed it up to pursue a dream to be in the entertainment industry. Many years later, that dream is very much a reality. His first entertainment hustle was at Atlanta-based record label, So So Def in their promotions department, where he learned how important it was to build your networking base. 

From So So Def, Lil Bankhead worked in Atlanta radio until he got a break with V-103, all while attending AIU Buckhead, studying Media Production. Shortly after graduating from AIU, he began filling in and producing for Greg Street and realized, he found his niche. He spent seven years producing at V-103, from producing for Greg Street and The Big Tigger Show to joining forces with DJ Infamous on their “Takeover” Show. Currently, Lil Bankhead is the newest member of Atlanta’s newest Hip Hop station, Streetz 94.5. 

With his hand in a wide range of lifestyle events- Lil Bankhead was featured judge during Freestyle Friday on 106 & Park, his “Stop Playing With School” Tour where he speaks to over 50 schools a year on the importance of staying in school and his hat line, the Bankhead Collection—you’ll definitely be hearing from Lil Bankhead all over Atlanta on or off the mic!
