A highly anticipated docuseries on Aaron Hernandez hit Netflix on Wednesday, and more than three episodes it follows his stunning and apparently vast destruction. Between the ages of 16 and 27, the Connecticut local went from being a carefree high school star to a well paid tight end for the Super Bowl-minded Patriots, just to wind upending it all in jail in the wake of being sentenced for one Boston-area murder and intensely ensnared in two others.
Individuals from Hernandez’s family declined to take an interest in the series, the official producers which are a couple of sportswriters, Dan Wetzel and Kevin Armstrong, who show up every now and again in the scenes to relate occasions.
