A Lithia Springs High School parent is accused of pulling a gun on students in the high school’s parking lot after a basketball game last week.
Douglas County deputies told Channel 2’s Alyssa Hyman that it happened during the same altercation where one student shocked another with a Taser.
Deputies say it all started with an argument in the middle of the girls junior varsity basketball game against Maynard Jackson High School.
The kids started arguing again during the varsity basketball games and school resources officers kicked everyone out of the gym, deputies said.
“A few minutes later, some of the Maynard Jackson varsity girls ran back into the gym asking for help that one of their teammates had been stunned by Taser and that a lady had pulled out a gun,” said Sgt. Trent Wilson, with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
