CHURCH NEAR THE POLE?
Kanye West has held his week by week “Sunday Service” strict occasions in an assortment of areas, including Coachella and, as of late, TV minister Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston, TX. He likely hasn’t facilitated the occasion at a strip club previously, however, NYC’s Sapphire Gentleman’s Club, situated at 39th St in Manhattan, needs to change that. As Complex calls attention to, they’ve composed a letter welcoming Kanye to “convey his confidence filled show in another scene, to another group of spectators of Gentlemen’s Club performers, administration staff and more.” “We’d love to open the ways to our 39th Street area in midtown Manhattan and have you and your ensemble beauty us with your quality,” Vice President Andrew Zarian writes in the letter.
You might think someone who teamed with PornHub last year would be down to hold an event in a strip club, but this invitation also comes just days after Kanye equated strip clubs with sex trafficking in a conversation with Joel Osteen says, “they got posters advertising sex trafficking because if there’s an advertisement for a strip club, that is advertising sex trafficking. At the end of the night, when they close up, the manager says, ‘How much traffic do we have?’”
