PETTY LABELLE OR HE HAS A POINT?
Antonio Brown, Oakland Raiders Wide Receiver, says he should be allowed to wear his 10-year-old helmet and if he’s not able to he will not play football again.
The NFL recently changed its equipment regulations that states that a certain style of helmet is no longer approved for players to use. Antonio Brown will no longer be able to wear his old helmet because it doesn’t meet the league’s required safety standards. So he decided to file a grievance with the league in an attempt to keep his desired helmet.
The Raiders haven’t played their first preseason game yet, he’s already suffered one self-inflicted injury, left the team because he was upset about the new helmet requirements, and he’s now threatening to stop playing football forever.
