Cyntoia Brown, the 16-year-old sex trafficking victim that waa convicted for the deadly shooting of a Nashville man who allegedly hired her as a teenage prostitute, got married while in prison.
When she was released from prison, she was reportedly picked up by her new husband, who’s name is Jamie Long, along with two bodyguards and her agent. Jamie Long is a Christian hip-hop artist by the name of J. Long.
Atria Books, who is a book publisher, announced the marriage in a press release while announcing that she will be publishing her memoir.
On the website of the publishing company, ‘Simon and Schuster’, she is listed as Cyntoia Brown-Long and her biography states “she looks forward to starting her life as a recently married woman.”
How the couple met is unclear. J. Long has also experienced life inside prison, as he was reportedly jailed in 2004 for assaulting a public servant in Texas.
