THINK SHE STILL WOULD RATHER BE WILD?
Cardi B has pleaded not guilty to charges of assault, harassment, conspiracy, and second-degree reckless endangerment. She is accused of two premeditated attacks on two bartenders who were working at a club in Queens, NY.
The victims are claiming they had glass bottles thrown at them, alcoholic drinks thrown in their faces, and one bartender’s head was slammed into the bar.
She was initially charged with two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of assault, but she rejected the plea deal that was offered, which would have granted her a conditional discharge in return for pleading guilty to a single misdemeanor.
Because she pled not guilty to the Class A misdemeanor, prosecutors had to investigate further and take the case to a grand jury.
If convicted, she faces up to four years in prison.
