TRYING TO ERASE THIS MAN ??
When it rains, it pours. Former Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt is recognizing this axiom is all too real. Hunt was having an exceptional season before footage of him assaulting a woman surfaced which resulted in him being cut from the team. Not too long thereafter, Hunt was restrained after allegedly punching a man at a bar.
Now reports have confirmed that Hunt has been removed from the Madden ’19 video game as a result of this recent information. A rep from EA Sports put out a statement on the matter, expressing that they “are in the process of removing Kareem Hunt from the Madden NFL 19 roster, Madden Overdrive, and Madden Ultimate Team,” adding, “Any of our players who currently have Hunt on their Ultimate Team will receive a replacement generic player with identical stats.”
Hunt was ranked as one of the game’s (both actual and virtual) leading rusher this season. For Madden enthusiasts, this correlated to Hunt holding a rating of 92 just behind Todd Gurley and Le’Veon Bell who are rated at 96 and 94, respectively.
