A man was arrested after a domestic assault investigation in Oceana County.
Oceana County sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence on West Monroe Road in Weare Township for a felonious domestic assault Saturday morning.
According to investigators, the ex-husband of the woman who lives at the residence had come over and instigated an argument with her. Police reports said the ex-husband ended up threatening the woman with a large knife after becoming very agitated with her and yelling.
After several threats, investigators said the man threw the knife down, made more threats and went outside to where he had a farm tractor parked.
According to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast, the man then used the front end loader on the tractor to flip his ex-wife’s vehicle over onto its top.
