LIL WAYNE IS NOW THE SOLE OWNER OF YOUNG MONEY! DETAILS INSIDE!
Earlier today, Lil Wayne was revealed as the cover star for Billboard’s latest feature. In a recent interview, Weezy goes into detail about what we should expect from “Tha Carter V” and some business decisions behind Wayne’s legal dispute with bird man were revealed.
Mainly, the categorization of Young Money as a branch of Stunna’s Cash Money was outlined.
It was casually revealed in the piece that Lil Wayne is now the sole owner of Young Money. That means that what was once a 51-49 percent joint venture has been granted in its entirety to Wayne.
It had previously announced that C5 would be released via Republic Records but with this news, it means that Wayne has the freedom to drop whatever music was being halted by the big boss.
This will mark his first album not to be released under the Cash Money imprint according to Billboard.
