Rapper Lil Yachty claimed on Tuesday that he was racially profiled while driving his car in Georgia.
The “1 Night” rapper tweeted about being pulled over by an officer who “didn’t believe” the vehicle he was driving belonged to him.
“wow, a white cop really just pulled me over just to ask me for the bill of sale on my car because he didn’t believe it was mine. Wtf,” the rapper, whose real name is Miles McCollum, wrote on Twitter at around 3:30 p.m.
About 40 minutes later, Yachty added: “I didn’t do anything wrong. He literally just doesn’t believe it’s my car. S–t is crazy.”
It was not clear what city the artist had been driving through when he said he was pulled over.
