In Clearwater Florida, 28-year-old Markeis McGlockton was shot and killed outside a convenience store by 47-year-old Michael Drejka. McGlockton was kilt over an argument about a parking spot.
Drejka is not being charged because he cited the ‘stand your ground’ law. Michael got away with this because Markeis slams Michael to the ground after Michael confronted Markeis’ girlfriend over a handicap spot. Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said that is when Michael shot fire at McGlockton.
Gualtieri said,“The incident is within the bookends of ‘stand your ground’ and within the bookends of force being justified.”. “I’m not saying I agree with it, but I don’t make that call.”
Michael told police he was afraid and he did have his permit to carry his gun.
