ALL THE DETAILS ARE RIGHT HERE!
Singer-songwriter Jacquees apparently didn’t make it through Mother’s Day weekend without a hitch. Just hours before he was scheduled to hit the stage for a show in Milwaukee, the Cash Money crooner was detained at Mitchell International Airport.
In video footage that surfaced online on Sunday (May 13), Jacquees is seen being escorted to a precinct near the international travel hub. “I’m getting locked up for no reason … I’m getting locked up because the police said I flicked them off. I did not touch the police one time. I was singing in the airport. The police said I could not sing,” he at one point tells the person filming the recording.
Thankfully, Jacquees was set free in time for him to be able to perform at the “Mother’s Day Affair” concert at The Eight Nightclub. Prior to hitting Water Street up, the “At the Club” singer would return to social media via his Instagram Stories to encourage fans to plead their case when in trouble for something they know they are innocent of.
Jacquees’ brief arrest came within two days of Oakland rapper Kamaiyah getting locked up for refusing to remove her head-cover for a TSA search in Connecticut’s Bradley International Airport, on Friday.
