NBA YOUNGBOY RELEASED ON BAIL IN GIRLFRIEND ASSAULT CASE
NBA YoungBoy has been released from jail after spending the past two weeks behind bars for physically assaulting his girlfriend, Jania.
“The 18-year-old Louisiana rapper posted $75,000 bail Thursday around 1 PM to get released from Ware County Jail in Georgia,” TMZ reads. “YoungBoy was busted in Florida on Feb. 24 on a warrant for kidnapping, and then transferred to GA.”
If you recall, a Surveillance video captured the brutal moment when the rapper began beating his girlfriend in a Georgia hotel hallway. YoungBoy was seen throwing & slamming his girlfriend to the ground, in the footage and then dragged Jania back to their hotel room. YoungBoy picking up and forcing his girlfriend back to the room is what gave him the kidnapping charge. Since he was arrested a couple of weeks ago, Jania has come out on video of her own claiming that they were just play fighting, which made people who saw this express on social media how sorry they felt for her.
“Cops didn’t buy her version of events, and YoungBoy was eventually booked for felony kidnapping, as well as aggravated assault,” TMZ adds. “A judge had initially denied him bail, but that changed Monday at a second hearing, where the judge set his bail amount.”
Since YoungBoy’s release, friend and fellow recording artist Young Thug has sent him a message on social media. “Welcome home my love” Thugga said along with some heart emojis.
