COCA-COLA IS DOING SOMETHING THEY HAVE NEVER DONE BEFORE…
Coca-Cola is on the rise of a new chapter with plans to launch its first alcoholic drink in Japan.
The company is currently experimenting with the creation of a popular type of Japanese alcopop known as Chu-Hi, containing distilled shochu alcohol mixed with flavored carbonate water.
Jorge Garduno, Coca-Cola’s Japan president says that it is “a modest experiment for a specific slice of our market.”
This isn’t the only Japanese-exclusive Coca-Cola drink. Last year, the brand released a peach-flavored drink to celebrate the country’s Momo no Sekku, or “the seasonal festival of peaches.”
