The 19-year-old who crashed her car while high and live streamed as her sister died as a result has been sentenced.
According to the Washington Post, Obdulia Sanchez received a sentence to six years and four months in prison for “gross vehicular manslaughter, driving while intoxicated and child endangerment”.
Sanchez pleaded guilty with no contest. Sanchez was tested for drugs and they found marijuana, cocaine, and alcohol after the crash.
In the video Sanchez says “I killed my sister, but I don’t care. I killed my sister. I know I’m going to prison, but I don’t care”.
Another teen was involved in the crash but survived
As she ends the video she says, “I’m sorry baby. Imma hold it down”.
The other teen who was in the car survived the crash.
