Christopher Gonzalez and Gary Higginbothan took to social media, when they broke into Lassister High School Saturday night. The duo allegedly damaged the gym’s ceiling, tore down evacuation signs, stole two fire extinguishers and jumped on cars.
The police report that is supported by the Snapchat videos, describes how the two men blasted patrons on the patio of one East Cobb restaurant, then seconds later to those eating at the Marlows Tavern across the street.
Restaurant worker Addison Phelps talked to Channel 2, “It took a couple of minutes for it to finally clear out. Two people’s food got completely ruined.” According to Phelps, it didn’t take long to identify the suspects.
A relative of a restaurant’s worker recognized one man as a recent Lassister High School graduate. Police received the video and arrested Gonzalez and Higginbothan.
They were charged with five felonies and four misdemeanors and are being held on a $60,000 bond.
