DONALD TRUMP WAS CAUGHT LYING. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS
Last night at a news press conference at the White House, President Donald Trump confidently claimed that he won with 306 electoral votes, which he then stated was the highest electoral votes for a president to receive since Ronald Reagan’s Presidency.
“I guess it was the biggest electoral college win since Ronald Reagan,” he said. However, this is in fact a lie. A reporter during the conference had no problem standing up and fact checking him quickly, stating that his statements were false. He stated that Obama won with 332 electoral votes in term 1 and 365 in term 2. The former president before him, George W. Bush won with 370 electoral votes. Not only did Trump not have the largest amount of electoral votes since Reagan’s presidency, but he also lied on how many electoral votes he actually got. Trump claimed on video that he received 306 electoral votes, when in actuality he only received 304. The reporter blatantly asked Trump how he expected America to trust him after lying about a simple fact?
Trump’s only response to the reporter seemed like he was oblivious to the fact. Trump stated, “I was given that information,” Trump said in response. “Actually, I’ve seen that information around. But it was a very substantial victory. Do you agree with that?”
It comes to no surprise that Trump’s interruptions and comebacks are far from kind. To add lying statements on top of that along with other significant actions Trump has took, is what makes the public view him as a negative figure.
