FIND OUT WHAT THE JUMPMAN SAID!!!!
Michael Jordan is known as the GOAT of basketball and recently he had some choice words for Golden State Warriors’ Owner Joseph S. Lacob. During the 1995-96 NBA season, the Chicago Bulls won a championship and set a NBA record for most wins with 72 win with only 10 loses.
In this past 2015-2016 season, exactly 20 years later, the Golden State Warrior’s broke the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls record for most wins by reaching 73 wins and 9 loses. GSW owner, Lacob, is very proud of their accomplishment. Even though they blew a 3-1 lead to the Cavs in the NBA Finals.
Joseph Lacob and Michael Jordan happened to be at the same dinner party and they started conversing about the past season of GSW beating the Bulls record. Lacob tried to brag to Michael Jordan about it and he told the owner to his face, “73 don’t mean sh*t!”
Lacob recalled that night in a recent interview and he said:
“There were six of us. Actually, Dan was one of them, Dan Gilbert. Anyway, Michael Jordan, people are drinking and having a good time and all that, but there was a moment where he said, you know, ’73 don’t mean shit.’ He did it, Michael Jordan did that. And I looked right at him, and I just decided not to make a big deal of it. I said, you know, you’re right, we didn’t win it, we had to get better.”
