PROTESTORS OUTSIDE CAPITOL HILL TURN VIOLENT
As Donald Trump prepared to be sworn in, protestors in downtown D.C. turned violent, vandalizing businesses and cars across the city.
Washington D.C. police say that among the buildings vandalized, a Mcdonald’s had a window smashed in with a hammer and a Bank of America was vandalized with spray paint.
Police have made attempts to control the crowd by use of pepper spray and have arrested at least 100 people.
Hopefully, the events taking place in D.C. aren’t a foreshadowing of what’s to come in the next 4 years of Trump’s presidency.
