WINTER STORM HAS GEORGIA IN A PANIC
Governor Nathan Deal declared a state of emergency beginning at 12pm Friday in light of winter storm warnings. Areas across Georgia are expecting 2-4 inches of snow over Friday night, and Georgia’s Department of Transportation is diligently preparing for the possible emergency.
Schools across Atlanta are dismissing 2 hours early and hospitals are getting doubling up on supplies and staff. Grocery stores have been in pandemonium, many stores across Metro Atlanta are completely out of bread and milk.
Although the Georgia Department of Transportation has begun pre-treating the roads, officials are warning everybody to prepare your emergency kits in your homes and in your vehicles.
