Russian Ambassador to Turkey pronounced dead, Detail inside.
The Russian ambassador to Turkey, Andrey Karlov has died after being shot in the capital city of Ankara. Karlov was shot in the back as he made a speech at a photo exhibition in the Turkish capital. The gunman, Mevlut Mert Altintas, described by Turkish officials as a 22-year-old off-duty police officer, also wounded at least three others in the assault. The lone gunman shouted “God is great!” and “Don’t forget Aleepo, don’t forget Syria!” Turkish officials said the assailant was killed by other officers in a shootout. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the assassination a “provocation,” vowing to step up security at diplomatic missions. Also Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the killing won’t dampen the two countries’ efforts to build a stronger relationship. Below is the graphic video of the assassination:
