Reality just set in for Ackquille Pollard aka Bobby Shmurda. As of yesterday he was officially sentenced to seven years at the Manhattan Supreme Court and will reportedly be released in 2021. Shmurda has been locked up since December 2014 and reportedly he has been granted time served and will also spend five years on probation and also waived his right to appeal the sentence.
Mr. Pollard was charged with counts of conspiracy to commit murder, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and more but pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of a weapon, in exchange for having his other counts dismissed. Bobby Shmurda made a statement after sentencing saying “I was forced to take this sentence, I did not want to take this sentence, I was forced by my attorney to take this plea.”
