FIND OUT WHAT KANYE SAID ABOUT JAY-Z INSIDE!
Kanye West is in his feelings again. Wednesday night, Ye went on a rant about Jay Z. The rant stemmed from a failed collab on Drake’s “Pop Style” track. During the rant he revealed that he was upset that Hov hadn’t reached out since Kim K’s robbery in Paris.
During his performance at Seattle’s KeyArena West went on a tirade about big bro Jay. He disclosed that even thought “Pop Style” is on Drake’s album, there is another unreleased version featuring himself, Jay and Drizzy. Ye claims that the reason this version was not released is because Jay’s loyalty lies with Meek Mill, due to Meek being signed to Roc Nation. Ye also eluded to politics and royalty percentages being road blocks to releasing the track. el
“Let me tell y’all something. There will never be a Watch The Throne 2,” West exclaimed to the crowd, referring to his collaboration album with Jay. “That’s the reason I wasn’t on this song [‘Pop Style’]. I wasn’t on the song cause of Hov. ‘Cause of some Tidal/Apple bullsh*t. And that sh*t be getting me tight every time I perform this motherf*cker.”
West also divulged, “Jay thought about it, and out of respect to Meek Mill, he didn’t want to be on the track. I said, ‘We’ve got to squash this sh*t and let people have this song.’ But then it went into some political sh*t, some sh*t about percentages on songs.” He went on to insinuate that there are unresolved personal issues at play, as well.
A disgruntled Ye also outed Jay for allegedly not properly reaching out after Kim Kardashian was robbed in Paris. “Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say ‘how you feelin’?” he screamed. “You wanna know how I’m feelin’? Come by the house.”
As of now, no response from Jay with regards to West’s tirade. Click here for the video.
